OVERALL ROLE :

Control, process, and maintain materials inventory and work areas to assure the efficient and successful distribution and processing of materials needed in the manufacturing process.

This is for the Second Shift ( 2;30 PM to 11 : 00 PM)

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Ability to operate fork lift trucks and pallet jacks in an efficient and safe manner.
• Store completed production items and assure they are identified and their storage location is recorded.
• Maintain materials inventory to assure timely delivery whenever needed.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and safe work environment.
• Assist staff and mechanics as needed.
• Inspect and maintain safety of lift trucks, pallet jacks, and all other equipment needed to perform the duties of the material handler.
• All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Ability to lift boxes weighing 70 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend and stoop for long periods of time.
• Ability to perform simple math calculations.
• Ability to complete required paperwork accurately and neatly.
• Ability to pass forklift training and hands-on test.
• Must be dependable, punctual, good work ethic, reliable, good communication skills, good comprehension skills.
