Job Description:
A healthcare client is looking to hire 2 full time Echocardiographer Technologists to support a healthcare facility in Worcester, Massachusetts. The technologists joining this team will be working in a fast paced hospital environment supporting the Cardiology and Congestive Heart Failure Clinic. Each day a technologist can expect to complete on aver 7 scans for an average patient population of those within their 50s. The clinic offers a small town feel to all it patients while offering the services of three Echo. Rooms and new coming, exciting technology integrations and new ultrasound machines!
Primary Responsibilities:
Performs Echocardiograms/Ultrasounds of the heart following standard procedure
Documents all readings, measurements and technical information appropriately into the electronic medical record system
Dispenses Echocardiogram reports to the assigned Physician for reading and interpretation
Ensures the highest quality of patient care while performing the study, ensures ICAEL requirements and standards are met
Performs Patient Education following standard procedures
Complies with health and safety requirements and with regulatory agencies such as DPH, etc.
Complies with established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives
Enhances professional growth and development through educational programs, seminars, etc.
Attends a variety of meetings, conferences, and seminars as required or directed
performs other similar and related duties as required or directed
Regular, reliable and predictable attendance will be required
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Attended accredited and licensed school of Echocardiograph
- Certified in Adult Echocardiograph
- Knowledge of various software applications such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
- EPIC experience
- Previous experience working as a Echocardiographer Technologist

- No on call work and no after hours work required
Compensation:
$40/hr to $50/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
