Major Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Develop SuiteScript to support NetSuite customization projects using Visual Studio Code.
- Manage codebase following established procedures using GitLab.
- Understand project business requirements, collaborate on projects, propose potential solutions, and execute selected solutions.
- Document technical designs as required.
- Communicate initial project estimates and ongoing status throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and execute unit testing for customization projects prior to handing off to QA.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, QA, and NetSuite Administration teams to successfully deploy customization projects.
- Provide advanced technical support and conduct defect resolution for customization projects as required.
- Stay up-to-date with new releases and changing capabilities within the NetSuite platform, understanding best practices for NetSuite development.
- Perform other responsibilities, as required, by Car-Part.com.
Essential Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Prior experience developing software using JavaScript or SuiteScript
- Prior experience with relational databases and data architecture
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- 1-3 years’ hands-on experience with Oracle NetSuite as a user or NetSuite Administrator
- Prior experience developing customizations within an ERP or CRM system
- Prior experience using Visual Studio Code, GitLab, and Jira
- Prior experience with REST APIs, JSON
