Core Personnel Staffing Services is Hiring a Janitor Custodian Near Wylie, TX
Performs a variety of assigned tasks which are routine in nature. Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Perform general housekeeping duties in the warehouse such as sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash removal, dusting, window cleaning, restroom and other duties similar to those of a janitor or custodial worker.
- Use proper PPE where required
- Clean all common space areas including lobby and break room
- Place safety hazard signs in the building including “wet floor” signs as necessary
- Monitor, clean, service and restock bathrooms
- Use cleaning chemicals and safe handling practices.
- Perform all duties with necessary precaution within accepted safety practices as assigned by supervisor or manager.
- Employees must be able to constantly (up to 100%) stoop, walk, climb stairs and ladder, crouch, kneel, pull, push, twist, reach, and perform repetitive hand motions.
- Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50lbs.
- Must be able to work in a non-air conditioned/non-heated work environment.
- Must have an eye for detail
- Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and uses
- 1-2 years’ experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper a plus but not required
- Will provide on the job training to those with strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- The ability to be flexible to work shift hours as needed and work at a fast pace in a multi-tasked job is a must.
- Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude
- Contribute to the overall team effort including being in uniform, dependable and on time
