Overview:

Commonwealth Senior Living is seeking a leader to join the team as a Dining Services Director. The qualified candidate will oversee the execution of the dining services program, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for residents. The Dining Services Director will coordinate resident care, activities, and staff scheduling, while embodying the company's core values and acting as a Culture Ambassador.

Qualifications:

• Certification in the Food Handlers Course (ServSafe®) or equivalent
• Previous management experience in the F&B industry
• Ability to work varied shifts and weekends
• Proficiency in preparing and serving nutritious meals, including for special events and diets
• Experience in managing food and labor costs, purchasing, inventory, and staff scheduling
• Commitment to Commonwealth Senior Living'smission of improving the lives of seniors and their families

Areas of Responsibility:

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals in compliance with regulations and planned menus
• Maintain food and labor costs within budgeted parameters
• Oversee food preparation for special events and therapeutic diets
• Manage purchasing, inventory, and department scheduling
• Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain adequate food and supply stock
• Uphold resident care confidentiality and supervise dining department associates
• Implement comprehensive inventory control procedures and maintain emergency food supplies
