Job Overview:
Provides instruction and training to individuals in community work settings. Provides support to help individuals attain desired outcomes for future competitive employment opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Works in conjunction with the AD of IBC &Vocational Services to provide supervision of individuals in community business settings.
• Instructs and provides training to individuals on how to best perform work assignments in community businesses settings.
• Helps individuals develop and maintain a high level of professionalism while working in the community.
• Responsible for quality of all services performed in Community Business settings.
• Communicates with vocational counselors regarding consumer issues (i.e., behaviors, job performance, established work outcomes).
• Maintains quality standards and accuracy with attendance and outcome documentation into Precision Care.
• Records daily work wages and enters information into Pay Scan for payroll and maintains accuracy.
• Meets with AD of IBC &Vocational Services on a weekly basis and/or as required to review community needs and the flexibility of days and location of sites.
• Keeps immediate supervisor apprised of all significant issues.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One (1) to two (2) years’ experience with the IDD/OMH population preferred.
• Drive agency vehicles safely, obeying NYS law.
• Maintain valid NYS driver’s license within agency criteria required.
• Supervisory skills preferred.
