Assistant positions available working with preschool aged children, specifically ages 2-4. Duties include circle time, free play supervision, fine motor skill work, and snack and lunch supervision.

Responsibilities include:

• Interacts frequently, effectively, and respectfully with the children in a caring and supportive manner
• Communicates directly with each child at the child’s level, including but not limited to song, dance, toys, and storytelling
• Encourages and models positive social behavior through loving, nurturing methods of age-appropriate guidance
• Demonstrates and fosters respect for diverse cultures
• Is a Team Player able to effectively represent and achieve the ideals and goals of the preschool
• Keeps the environment safe, clean, and attractive through an equal share of joint responsibility with peers
• Communicates with parents and co-workers in a friendly, welcoming manner with sensitivity, interest, maturity, and respect

Candidate will need to have 12 ECC credits. Promotional opportunities available including to elementary school positions.
