Responsibilities
- Accurate and efficient processing of payroll data
- Maintain and manage the Human Capital Management (HCM) system
- Monitor daily reports, identifying and resolving any pending deductions or pay issues
- Review and analyze reports, bringing any issues to the attention of payroll technicians
- Ensure accurate record-keeping of employee start dates and absence information
- Conduct necessary research to resolve any system-related issues
- Manage and fix payroll deductions as necessary
- Utilize Excel for data sorting, filtering, and use of pivot tables and vlookups
- Work independently with systems, requiring minimal guidance
- Basic knowledge in the process of payroll is a prerequisite.
- Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is necessary for the role.
- Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is required.
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now is a significant plus.
- Knowledge of Ceridian is expected.
- Crystal Reports skills are an advantage.
- Previous experience with 401k - RRSP Administration is beneficial.
- Familiarity with About Time software is helpful.
- Proficiency in Accounting Functions is required.
- Auditing skills are essential for the role.
- Knowledge of Benefit Functions is expected.
