GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The successful Sales Professional at A.J. Weller develops new business by prospecting, cold-calling and closing. The demonstrated ability to manage and grow a geographical territory of accounts by building strategic personal relationships throughout the defined territory.
CORE & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Must possess 1-2 years of relevant sales experience. Possession of at least a high school diploma and a post-secondary degree is required. Must possess an “entrepreneurial” and a “service-first” mindset. Demonstrated aptitude for taking charge and solving problems; ability to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach). Must possess a strong mechanical aptitude. Having the ability to read a tape measure and drawings is a plus. Must be results-orientated and able to work both independently and cooperatively within a team environment. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must possess proficient reporting skills and have meticulous attention to detail. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications and contact management software. Must possess a valid driver’s license. Must be able to travel to client meetings.
