US Department of State - Agency Wide is Hiring a Program Specialist Near Arlington, VA

Duties

  • Manages the development, implementation, and modification of the domestic and overseas Facility Management training program, program services, and products delivered worldwide.
  • Develops individual training courses and researches analyses issues for improving systemic training needs for improvement implementation strategies.
  • Serves as the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) to oversee work performed by contractors.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet all the qualification requirements described below by the closing date of this announcement.

Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in the Federal service which provided the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position. Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

  • Experience developing and monitoring a training program related to facilities management.
  • Experience planning subject-focused studies for training programs.
  • Experience providing guidance on program/project management and evaluation for contracted work.

There is no substitute of education for specialized experience for the GS-14 position.
