We seek a dedicated Critical Facility Technician to join our growing, cutting-edge data center team in Ashburn, VA. This full-time role offers a unique chance to work in a dynamic 24x7 data center environment, ensuring the smooth operation of critical and non-critical equipment.

In this role, you will be part of a growing team of ten who cycle 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts on a 3-month on/off basis.

You will be responsible for:

- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, generators, fire detection and suppression, life safety systems, temperature control systems, and building management systems.

- Manage and maintain critical infrastructure components such as UPS systems, power distribution units (PDUs), and backup power systems.

- Coordinate and supervise the data center's electrical operations, maintenance, and energy management programs.

- Ensure compliance with change control processes, standard operating procedures, and data center best practices.

- Schedule and oversee preventive, contracted, and general maintenance activities for data center equipment.

- Respond promptly to emergencies and customer concerns, ensuring safety and operational efficiency within the data center.

- Monitor and manage data center environmental conditions to ensure optimal performance and uptime.

- High school diploma with 3-5 years of data center experience supporting electrical, mechanical, and HVAC.

- Preferred certifications in electrical or mechanical fields.

- Experience working in a data center environment is a must.

- Willingness to work overtime and flexible shifts, including day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts.

- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with data center management software.

- Strong understanding of data center power and cooling systems and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
