Answers switchboard in a courteous manner. Seeks information from individual in order to route calls to appropriate department/individual.

Requirements

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED

• Minimum of High School Diploma required

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Previous experience as a switchboard operator in large call volume setting preferred.

• Must possess excellent communication and computer skills

• Ability to sit/stand for long periods
• Ability to visually and audibly perform all essential functions for timely responsiveness.
• Precise hand-eye coordination and finger dexterity required.

• Must be able to deal with a variety of personalities with whom the employee comes into contact, both pleasant and irate.
