Responsibilities will include: Leading our sales efforts to identify new member companies to join our new Atlanta location in Science Square, a thriving hub for life science startups. Leading negotiations with potential member companies and overseeing the entire sales and closing process. Your strong business acumen and interpersonal skills will be instrumental in forging mutually beneficial partnerships and driving successful outcomes. Taking charge of identifying and managing a pipeline of potential member companies.Tracking contracts with current and future members. You will need to understand members’ current and future needs to develop a plan for growth and/or renewal. Collaborating with sponsors to gain a deep understanding of their goals and objectives. By aligning their interests with our network of innovators and events, you will foster meaningful partnerships and create value for all parties involved. Establishing a prominent presence within the Atlanta Life Science ecosystem. Through active engagement with key stakeholders and expanding your network, you will discover promising early-stage life sciences companies that have the potential to become successful prospective members or investments for Portal.
Qualifications & Experience:· Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred;· Experience in sales and business development. Knowledge of the life sciences industry (Pharma, biotech, med device);· 2 years of relevant experience in sales, business development, strategic partnerships· Proven experience building and managing relationships;· Strong work ethic, organized and detail oriented; a closer· Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work as part of a team as well as independently;· Flexibility and adaptability to grow as the role evolves.Compensation: Portal Innovations offers a competitive salary and benefits package based on experience
