Senior Telecom Test Architect

Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Telecom Test Architect with specialized expertise in Qualcomm modem technology, Dual SIM Dual Standby (DSDS), Mobile Station Originated (MSO) testing, and iOS platform experience. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of telecommunications protocols, extensive experience in test architecture design, and a proven track record of leading complex testing projects in the mobile communication domain.
Responsibilities:
Test Architecture Design and Strategy:
Design and develop comprehensive test architectures and strategies for telecom systems, focusing on Qualcomm modem technology, DSDS, MSO, and iOS platform testing.

Define test objectives, requirements, and success criteria based on product specifications and industry standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of test plans with product development goals and timelines.

Test Plan Development and Execution:
Lead the development of detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, performance, and interoperability testing of telecom systems.

Establish testing environments and tools required to execute test plans effectively, including simulators, test automation frameworks, and monitoring systems.

Execute test cases according to defined test plans, analyze test results, and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.

Test Automation and Tool Development:
Drive the automation of test cases and test workflows to increase testing efficiency and scalability.

Develop and maintain test automation frameworks, scripts, and tools tailored to the specific requirements of telecom testing, with a focus on Qualcomm modem, DSDS, MSO, and iOS platforms.

Continuously optimize test automation processes and tools to enhance reliability, repeatability, and coverage of test executions.

Technical Leadership and Mentoring:
Provide technical leadership and guidance to the testing team, sharing expertise in telecom technologies and testing methodologies.

Mentor junior team members, facilitate knowledge sharing, and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Collaborate with other architects and engineers to influence product design decisions and ensure testability and quality considerations are addressed from the early stages of development.

Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate closely with product management, development, and quality assurance teams to understand product requirements and priorities.

Communicate test findings, status updates, and risk assessments to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Drive alignment and resolution of issues through effective cross-functional communication and collaboration.

Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or related field.

Minimum of 15 years of experience in telecom testing, with a focus on Qualcomm modem technology, DSDS, MSO, and iOS platforms.

Extensive experience in test architecture design, test planning, and execution in a telecom or mobile communication environment.

In-depth knowledge of telecom protocols and standards, such as GSM, CDMA, LTE, VoLTE, etc.

Hands-on experience with telecom test tools and equipment, such as network analyzers, signal generators, and protocol analyzers.

Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members towards achieving common goals.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and geographically distributed team environment.
