The Project Portfolio Manager is responsible for project portfolio governance within the project delivery area, which includes project initiation, planning, quality, compliance, project reviews, and ensuring project management methodologies are implemented across the organization. The Project Portfolio Manager will execute strategy by driving direction, planning, and execution for the portfolio they supervise. They will guide teams across multiple projects, maximizing resources and ensuring deadlines are met. This includes managing program risks and issues, portfolio financials, quality assurance, change management, ROI analysis, stakeholder management, and program governance.
Essential Functions::Must be able to read, write, and communicate verbally and in writing to express and exchange ideas. While performing the responsibilities of this job, the employee must be able to access all components of the workstation and other office equipment. Frequent typing, writing, bending, and twisting. Must be able to lift to 30 pounds.
Work Environment::General office environment with moderate noise. This position is primarily sedentary and mainly involves sitting but may involve walking or standing for brief periods. A busy environment with many unscheduled interruptions. Frequent computer use at workstations for extended periods. Public contact position requiring appropriate business apparel. Travel may be required up to 30% of the time.
