Responsibilities
Lake Austin Spa Resort offers all-inclusive vacation packages, which include accommodations in one of 40 charming lakeside guest rooms across 12 landscaped grounds, three gourmet meals daily, indoor, and outdoor fitness activities and classes, and a selection of more than 100 spa and body treatments in the 25,000-square foot spa.

DescriptionLicensed Massage TherapistLake Austin Spa Resort - Austin, TX
Responsibilities
- Take notes regarding each client’s medical history and ensure that appropriate precautions are taken so that the condition is not aggravated
- Provide clients with knowledge of different types of available massages and suggest appropriate massage therapies for individual clients
- Explain the massage procedure and provide information about oils and creams used during massage
- Perform massaging activities according to each client’s instructions (pressure and preferred oil/cream)
- Talk to clients (minimally) during massage treatments to ensure their well-being during the procedure
- Uphold the standards of hygiene and sterilization as directed by law and the spa’s policies and procedures
- Maintain a constructive attitude and add toward a quality work environment
- Qualified candidates will have at least 500 training hours, including one year of licensed, hands-on experience.
- Current Texas massage therapist license required.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Outstanding communication and listening skills
- Ability to build relationships with guests
- Ability to promote products and services
- Ability to work as part of a team
