Role Description

Our team is growing once again! We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Account Manager to join us full-time in a hybrid role. As an Account Manager at the Terry Smith Agency, you will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with clients, understanding their insurance needs, providing insurance advice, and offering appropriate insurance solutions. Additionally, you will maintain client records, process policy changes and claims, and provide excellent customer service. Some remote work is acceptable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and retain an assigned book of business.
• Develop new business from existing accounts and leads.
• Identify and follow up on cross-selling opportunities, especially life insurance.
• Handle policy implementation, paperwork, and client meetings.
• Stay updated on industry changes and attend continuing education.
• Collaborate closely with team members to meet and exceed client needs.
• Show a willingness or interest in working with commercial clients/prospects.

Qualifications:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Knowledge of insurance coverages and products.
• Experience in sales or account management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience in the insurance industry is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.

Salary Plus Commission and Daily Bonus.
