Due to our ongoing success and as we position ourselves for further growth, Sage Dental is hiring an experienced Purchasing Agent/ Buyer to work at the Sage Dental Warehouse located in Boca Raton, FL! (This is not a remote position it is fully onsite.) This is a hands-on position that will perform a variety of purchasing duties as required to maintain a constant flow of materials, equipment and supplies to our dental clinics and Support Center. The selected candidate must be detail oriented, able to work quickly under pressure, and possess strong organizational skills.

• Purchases materials, supplies and inventory items following established guidelines and procedures set forth by management.
• Orders all consumables and assists with managing clinic inventory levels.
• Orders equipment repair items and coordinates outside vendor service calls with maintenance team for onsite inspections, scheduled maintenance, and repairs for all equipment, machinery, and clinic facilities and structures.
• Tracks backorders, arranges with vendors for delivery and notifies the department manager as to the expected delivery date.
• Researches vendors and suppliers to ascertain the most cost-efficient source of supplies.
• Requests regular and new supplies and services from vendors frequently.
• Handles negotiations with vendors, as needed or requested by management, regarding price points of supplies.
• Completes purchase orders using designated software as required.
• Performs data entry of purchase orders on computer and logbook as required.
• Maintains good housekeeping standards in assigned areas.
• Performs all duties following established safety procedures and guidelines using assigned safety equipment.
• Makes initial contact with various contractors and various dental clinics and Support Center.

• 3-5 years experience in a similar position.
• Proficient PC skills and the ability to work with computer applications and programs such as Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills, and the ability to conduct analysis, solve problems and make decisions.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Able to multi-task, prioritize work and meet deadlines.
