Dedicated to the care of BHSF employees, the Occupational (Occ) Health RN 1 works in either the Occupational Health Office or the Pre-Employment Services departments. This RN documents the nursing process in care management via assessment, diagnoses and treatments resulting from workplace injuries and illness. This position is responsible for administering post hire screenings, participating in drug free workplace protocols, ensuring hospital employees are free of communicable diseases, conducting mandatory annual Tuberculosis surveillance, providing immunizations, performing phlebotomy procedures, managing clinical follow-up to blood and/or body fluid exposures, returning injured/ill employees to work, evaluating work restrictions and ADA accommodations in concert with Disability Management and utilizing Telehealth modalities when appropriate. Maintaining scientific, regulatory and business knowledge appropriate to Occ Health.
Estimated pay range for this position is $35.48 - $47.19 / hour depending on experience.

Additional Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN). RNs hired or transferring with an Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) will have 5 years to complete BSN degree. Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessment, phlebotomy, verbal and written communication skills. Five years of recent acute care experience, preferably in the Emergency Department, Urgent Care or ICU.
