Engineer In Training Responsibilities
- Analyze and design structural elements and systems for steel, concrete, timber, and masonry buildings in accordance with applicable building codes and design standards.
- Prepare and review detailed drawings, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
- Communicate and coordinate effectively with clients, providing technical expertise and support.
- Manage construction administration activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
- Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ability to draw, sketch, and detail to convey design intent effectively.
- Proven ability to take independent responsibility for portions of a project.
- Proficiency in computer analysis software (e.g., ETABS, RAM, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
- Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and team-building skills.
- 1 years of experience in the structural design of concrete, steel, masonry, and wood frame structures preferred but not required.
- Bachelor’s degree in structural engineering or a related field required.
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- A competitive salary range of $65,000 to $85,000, depending on experience.
