Lead UX Designer (most closely aligns to the market title “Lead Product Designer”

One of our Portfolios maintains a suite of digital platforms, serving MDPs (Managing Directors & Partners) across the business. There is an opportunity to re-evaluate a number of these platforms to ensure that they are fit for purpose / deriving the maximum value our MDPs. There are a number of areas that this evaluation might address:

Strategic fit

Are the platforms addressing real and prioritised user needs?

Are the platforms best serving the business?

Are the platforms providing sufficient reporting, measurement capabilities for users

Channel delivery

Are our platforms providing sufficiently robust experiences across desktop and mobile devices?

UI/ID

Are our platforms sufficiently robust from a UI/ID pov?

Are current designs sufficiently usable?

Do we have sufficient ability to measure the efficacy of our UI/ID

Skills, experience required

We need a designer who can provide:

1. Very strong UI/ID skills, inc. responsive, adaptive, accessible design
2. Strong research skills (generative evaluative, Quant Qual, Declared Observed) to understand user need and evaluate design work
3. Strong emphasis on the measurement of value to be accrued / demonstrate the ROI of design
4. Strong stakeholder management skills data-driven story telling
5. Strong ability to challenge and re-frame existing paradigms, conceptual models and to provide higher value add alternatives
6. Strong impulse toward cross-functional collaboration
7. Strong experience of co-creation across functional areas

As above, this would align most commonly with the market definition of “Product Design”.
