Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is addinga a Physician Assistant to the Emergency Medicine group at NYC Health Hospitals/Lincoln . The Hospital is part of the ?NYC Health Hospitals System (NYCHHC). Lincoln is a designated Level I Trauma and Stroke Center and has Centers of Excellence in all medical specialties including its award- winning Cancer and Breast Centers.

The physician assistant will join the care team and perform the following but not limited to:

• Assess, evaluate, diagnose, perform history and physical exam, and to treat patients of all ages who present to the Emergency Department with any symptom, illness, injury, or condition
• To provide comprehensive and quality care to patients .
• Work collaboratively with nursing as well as other clinical services in the hospital.
• Complete all assigned administrative task/charts as required by the department as well as the hospital.
• Must be up to date with clinical skills and knowledge base by regular CME as well as taking part in regular departmental teaching activities.
• Must present patients to the supervising physicians in the area of the ED where they are practicing.
• Will perform all other duties assigned by the chief of service/his/her designee

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant educational program.
• Current NYS registration as a Physician Assistant.
• Current certification/admissibility issued by the NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
