Cadillac Java is a locally owned family operated business serving the Cadillac community in two locations. Whether at the downtown or west end shop, we strive to serve the best coffee and wide variety of other beverages as possible. A staple in the Cadillac area, Cadillac Java uses premium ingredients and equipment to create memorable experiences for our customers.
Cadillac Java is seeking a skilled Barista to join our team. If you have a passion for the food industry and coffee, along with excellent customer service skills, we would love to hear from you.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks and beverages
- Operate coffee-making equipment such as espresso machines and grinders
- Take customer orders and handle transactions using a cash register
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and dining area
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons and offering help with menu choices
Requirements
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso drinks
- Familiarity with basic math for handling transactions
- Ability to handle food safely and follow health regulations
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
- Sales skills to promote products effectively
Compensation
- $10.50 starting wage
