Allied Solutions is Hiring a HRIS Analyst Near Carmel, IN

The HRIS Analyst provides day-to-day Human Resources Information System (HRIS) support related to development, implementation, and maintenance of the HRIS system, Workday. The HRIS Analyst will collaborate with various departments to support implementation/enhancement of HRIS processes and functionalities. This position will also be the owner of reporting and analytics by gathering data, running and analyzing reports, creating simple to complex reports in the HRIS system, and providing monthly/quarterly data metrics to key stakeholders.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:Development and Implementation (40%):
  • Configure, maintain, and support Core HCM, Absence, Benefits, Compensation, Talent, Payroll, Time Tracking, Performance, and Learning modules.
  • Workday system configuration including modules updates, business process/workflow setup and modification, security, etc. as determined by business requirements.
  • Collaborate with HR Technology team to understand system end-user needs, evaluate processes and identify opportunities for automation in all functional areas on a consistent basis.
  • Support HCM integrations and make changes when required by the business. Serve as liaison between vendors and/or internal customers to identify requirements and make system changes to processes.
  • Develop, review, and update system documentation in the event of changes or new implementation.
  • Participate and support the work associated with scheduled Workday Releases, including reviewing new features, facilitating testing, documentation, configuration, and developing communication materials when necessary.
  • Support Workday system security including the creation of new roles and security groups as needed. Configure and maintain domain security policies and business process policies in Workday.
  • Support in the maintenance of existing integrations; proficient knowledge of inbound and outbound EIB’s and Cloud Connect integrations.
  • Stay updated on Workday releases/functionality, assessing relevance for our business needs. Monitor technology trends in HRIS and leverage vendor relationships and user communities to maintain and expand knowledge base and enhance capabilities of HR systems.
  • Comply with applicable legal requirements, standards, policies and procedures including, but not limited to the internal compliance, Code of Conduct, HIPAA and documentation standards.
  • Support the accuracy and integrity of data by supporting risk and audit activities, security assessments, and access reviews. Ensure data integrity and privacy compliance for domains supported.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Maintenance and Support (30%):
  • Manage issues reported to the HRIS support/ticket queue and provide end-user troubleshooting, issue remediation, technology assistance, and escalation management.
  • Support end users through analysis, and if necessary, re-creation of the issue to determine the root cause (i.e. system configuration, data integrity, network, etc.) and provide resolution to the end user.
  • Troubleshoot system and integration issues by identifying root cause and implements/oversees required correction to prevent recurrence.
  • Troubleshoot unexpected results or process flaws and recommend solutions.
  • Determine necessary changes to prevent recurrences of issues based on the root cause.
Reporting and Analytics (30%):
  • Owner of Workday Reporting; review report requests and assign report requests to HR Tech team when appropriate.
  • Develop and maintain simple to complex HRIS reports, using standard reports and custom report building in the HRIS system.
  • Collaborate with users to understand and document requirements to deliver recurring reports.
  • Partner with Manager, HR Services and Technology to educate users on reporting capabilities and continuously seek reporting enhancements to support evolving requirements.
  • Build complex reports and visualizations using matrix and composite reports.
  • Build and distribute monthly and quarterly HR data metrics.
  • Attend project related or problem-solving meetings and represent the “reporting” point of view.
  • Create and maintain reports for all HR areas and perform analysis of data (Excel VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, etc.).
  • Collaborate with People Leaders to brainstorm reporting needs and analyze data.
  • Use analytical tools and techniques to analyze the data based on the identified requirements; look for trends, patterns and correlations that can provide valuable insights.
  • Develop a narrative that connects the data points and tells a coherent story, highlighting key finds and insights that align with the goals of the report requestor.
  • Choose appropriate visualization techniques (charts, graphs, dashboards) to represent the data effectively.
Qualifications (Education, Experience, Certifications & KSA):
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Human Resources, or an equivalent combination of education and directly related work experience required.
  • 3 years of directly related work experience required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience working with HRIS systems required, Workday preferred.
  • 1-2 years data analytics and reporting experience required.
  • Workday Pro Certification preferred or willingness to take Workday Instructor Lead courses within one (1) year of employment with Allied Solutions.
  • Understanding of HR domain and workflows.
  • Ability to think outside the box.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of reporting tool usage. Ability to analyze and troubleshoot system issues and provide solutions.
