Our Nouveau Eyewear Division is seeking an experienced **Customer Service Representative.** Nouveau Eyewear is a leading provider of quality frames to eyewear retailers, optical laboratories and independent opticiansmaking this, an exciting opportunity to join our TEAM!
Job Summary
The Customer Service Rep acts as a liaison, providing product and service information and resolves issues with customer accounts. Ensures excellent service standards, responds efficiently to customer inquiries and maintains a high level of customer satisfaction.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Manage large amounts of incoming calls
* Able to enter data fast and accurately
* Generate sales leads from caller/prospect interactions
* Identify and assess customers needs to achieve satisfaction
* Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
* Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
* Meet personal/customer service team performance targets and call handling quotas
* Retrieves customer information, stock status, purchase order history and makes changes to customer orders
* Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
* Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
* Perform other duties as assigned
Experience/Qualifications
* Position requires a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
* Prior customer service experience
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Strong telephone and active listening skills
* Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
* Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
* Optical industry experience preferred but not required
