Supra National Express (SUPRA), a transportation, logistics, and warehousing leader, is seeking a
Senior Accountant focusing on General Ledger accounting. The successful candidate will manage and
maintain various General Ledger and Balance Sheet accounts across our multiple transportation.

Responsibilities:
- Draft and manage all general ledger journal entries, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of
- Develop and maintain thorough financial procedures and systems.
- Prepare and review Balance Sheet Lead Schedules with supporting documentation.
- Maintain fixed asset subsidiary ledgers.
- Complete monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables that include journal entries,
- Assist in the preparation of information for external audits.
- Continually develop, expand, and improve financial procedures.
- A degree in accounting.
- Profound understanding and knowledge of GAAP.
- Proven experience with General Ledger accounting, especially with the monthly financial
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and/or other General Ledger software packages.
- Experience with SAP is a plus.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite, particularly strong capabilities in MS Excel.
- Familiarity with invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll procedures.
- Bilingual in Spanish/English is a plus.
- Timely and accurate completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
- Efficiency in managing and preparing for audits.
- Number of identified accounting discrepancies and resolution time.
