Responsibilities
- Safety, Health, and Environmental Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with local SHE policies, government laws, and regulations. Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive inspection, integrity, and SHE training programs.
- Reliability and Availability Enhancement: Formulate and enforce a reliability/availability strategy, including system performance monitoring and root cause analysis for failures.
- Mechanical Integrity and Standards Compliance: Maintain asset integrity according to industry standards and conduct regular audits and corrective actions.
- Financial and Budget Management: Develop the annual maintenance budget, monitor performance, and implement cost controls to meet financial targets.
- Team Development and Performance Management: Align team roles with performance expectations, identify training needs, and ensure compliance with human resource policies.
- Technology and CAPEX Leadership: Coordinate with engineering teams for CAPEX execution and adherence to site engineering policies.
- Contractor Management: Oversee relationships with embedded and external contractors, ensuring compliance and performance.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in maintenance and engineering leadership within a manufacturing or similar environment.
- Strong understanding of SHE regulations, mechanical integrity standards, and industry best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and manage budgets, with a keen sense for cost efficiency.
- Leadership skills with a focus on team development, performance management, and strategic planning.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills, capable of managing contractor relationships and aligning team efforts with organizational goals.
