The Chapel Hill Country Club has a rare opportunity for a staff accountant to join our Finance team. Founded in 1922, the Club consists of golf, racquet sports, swimming, and dining, providing an exceptional experience for all Members and Guests in this member-owned private club. The ideal candidate is a staff accountant with a mininum of three years' accounting experience, private club experience is a plus, but not required. If you have a strong degree of attention to detail, comprehensive knowledge of A/P, A/R, payroll, bank reconcilliations, payroll/employee Federal and State reporting, and outstanding written and oral communication skills, we encourage you to apply and explore this opportunity.

This is an exempt position, responsible for all aspects of the accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll functions of the Club, as well as the recording and posting of daily financial transactions. The successful candidate will act as a liason between members/gustes and Club regarding billing and general membership inquiries, so an "I've got this" attitude is essential - you can juggle multiple competing priorities without getting flustered.

Finally, YOU have a strong desire to provide exceptional service and experience to Members. Here at the CHCC, there is no such thing as a "no" or "we cannot do that," you need to be a creative problem-solver to be successful in this role.
