We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mid-Level Desktop Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. THIS IS A FULLY ONSITE POSITION.
**Position Overview:**
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Mid-Level Desktop Support Specialist to provide technical support to our staff. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure and providing exceptional support to our users. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in desktop support, excellent problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused approach.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide comprehensive desktop support to end-users, including hardware and software troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to desktop systems, applications, and network connectivity.
- Configure, deploy, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripheral devices.
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
- Ensure timely response to support tickets, emails, and phone inquiries.
- Maintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and follow-up actions.
- Collaborate with IT team members to implement and support technology initiatives.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve support processes.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in desktop support or a similar role.
-Automation experience with Powershell and/or other languages
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and other common business applications.
- Familiarity with remote support tools and technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A , Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) are a plus.
