Job DescriptionThe Senior Financial Analyst reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
This position is responsible for retrieving, researching, and organizing financial data into financial reports and must be able set up and organize spreadsheets and databases, and recognize financial trends and drivers. The Senior Financial Analyst will determine if the analysis is reasonable and, if not, be able to correct issues. This position is responsible for meeting deadlines, scheduling meetings, setting priorities, coordinating simultaneously occurring projects, and communicating effectively in both written and oral formats.
The Senior Financial Analyst will establish and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and consultancies. This individual must understand complex financial concepts and accounting rules and be able to interpret and explain these concepts. The Senior Financial Analyst must be able to critical think critically, even in high-stress situations and still make timely decisions.
