Key Accountabilities/Deliverables:
- Creating new business accounts in the appropriate system(s) and filing all relevant documentation
- Processing and issuing policies independently, accurately, and within established standards
- Processing and issuing monied and non-monied endorsements independently, accurately, and within established standards
- Booking accounts: confirm all binder information is accurate in appropriate system(s) before advancing the policy to the billing phase.
- Processing BORs: edit form letter for both the original and selected broker, send letters to the appropriate brokers, and update the records in appropriate system; file documentation electronically
- Provide general assistance and support to underwriters, brokers, and other internal departments [IT, billing, claims, operations, etc.]
- Knowledge of Professional Liability insurance industry E&O and LPL (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of insurance company operations, or similar experience.
- 2 years in the professional/management liability marketplace or other Insurance experience
- Prior Insurance Company or MGU experience (preferred)
- Prior E&O and LPL experience preferred.
- Experience working with support services, including IT and operations
