Expert Staffing West is seeking an Assembler II.

Monday - Thursday, 5:00 AM - 2:30 PM.

**Position Summary:**

Working under close supervision, the role involves assembling small parts, capacitors, switches, and related components into cabinets. This includes fabricating various sub-assemblies and performing additional tasks as required.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

To succeed in this role, an individual must perform the following duties satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

- Collaborate primarily with other assemblers to consistently meet quality and production standards.

- Operate a forklift to move pallets and cabinets, provided proper training and certification have been completed.

- Assemble capacitor racks.

- Install oil switches, copper fuse holders, insulation, mountings, porcelain, links, and louver covers.

- Drill and install glastic fittings.

- Build transformer brackets.

- Verify correct clearances and hole diameters based on blueprints.

- Operate air sanders to deburr door handles.

- Utilize mini-punches, grinders, band saws, impact wrenches, hand tools, and other equipment.

- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

- Manufacture small hardware parts.

- Clean and maintain the work area.

- Work independently with minimal supervision.

**Qualifications:**

- **Education/Experience:** High school diploma or GED; or six to nine months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

- **Language Ability:** Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Write simple correspondence. Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations and with other employees.

- **Mathematical Ability:** Add and subtract two-digit numbers and multiply/divide with 10’s and 100’s. Perform these operations using units of American money, weight measurements, volume, and distance.

- **Reasoning Ability:** Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
