Confidential is Hiring a Payroll and Benefits Specialist Near Cleveland, OH

KEY JOB DUTIES:

  • Enters, maintains, and/or processes information in the payroll system (ADP); information may include employees hourly rates, salaries, commissions, bonuses or other compensation, time worked, paid leave and holidays, deductions and withholding, address changes, and other information.
  • Ensures accuracy processing of payroll deductions for taxes, benefits, and other deductions for both hourly and salary employees.
  • Reconciles payroll to the general ledger and monthly bank statements.
  • Handling employee questions or issues regarding payroll and benefits.
  • Records and processes federal and state payroll tax deposits.
  • Coordinates and monitors annual open enrollment processes.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Highly Proficient with ADP Workforce Now HRIS and payroll.

COMPETENCIES/SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE OR TRAINING PREFERRED:

  • 3-5 years experience handling all facets of payroll/benefits/HRIS ADP
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite/365
  • Prior experience in manufacturing industries preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources preferred
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
