Title: Sr. Project Manager – Technology & Operations
Job Type : Contract (4-6 months) – possibility for extension/ conversion
Location: Downtown Cleveland or Fairlawn, Ohio – Hybrid 3x a week

Job Summary Wright Technical Services is proud to represent a Cleveland-based financial industry leader seeking a Senior Project Manager – Technology & Operations Services, for immediate Consulting opportunity to drive the success of a set of projects within a firm-wide strategic program. This position will report to the Firm's Chief Operating Officer and work closely with other members of the Firm's leadership team as well as other team members within the organization.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required for this position
  • Minimum of 8 years prior experience in Project Management, with proven success managing multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience managing both technical and business/ operation projects.
  • Experience in the Professional Services Industries, with a preference to experience in Finance/ Accounting.
  • Experience managing projects through Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
  • Strong organizational, facilitation, and negotiation skills will be required to drive results.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency with various project management styles (Agile) and software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including ability to make formal presentations to leadership.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead internal resources to work together to resolve complex project problems.
  • Ability to independently shepherd complex interactions and situations.
  • Sense of urgency to deliver both short-term and long-term results.
  • Ability to set clear expectations and hold cross functional teams accountable to all deliverables.
  • Ability to handle ambiguous and volatile project requirements.
  • Ability to lead teams through influence and collaboration in a matrix organization.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage through ambiguity and complexity, and support multiple, simultaneous projects, multiple stakeholders and articulate dependencies and interrelationships.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to be a team player.

Description

  • Work with project sponsors and stakeholders, establish project objectives, procedures, plans, and performance standards for multiple projects within a firm-wide strategic initiative, with the potential to also manage acquisition integrations.
  • Track, manage, and resolve project issues as they arise throughout the project life cycle.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather insights, align objectives, and implement best practices.
  • Manage project progress including timeline & milestone tracking, project issue & risk tracking, meeting coordination, and holding stakeholders at various levels accountable for completion of assigned tasks.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to leadership on project status, risks, and opportunities.
  • Formulate reports by extracting required data from various sources related to project status, progress, and roadblocks.
  • Support team members, including leaders, on project management concepts and processes.
