Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as an advocate for clients in accessing community resources, social services, and support systems that enhance their overall well-being.
- Provide immediate support and crisis intervention when necessary to ensure the safety and stability of clients.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues, including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and other professionals, to ensure coordinated and holistic care for clients.
- Educate clients about coping skills, effective communication, and self-care strategies to empower them in managing their mental health.
- Participate in community outreach activities and engage in networking to enhance referral resources and community partnerships.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state where you practice.
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field.
- Minimum of four years experience in the same related field.
- Previous experience working in an outpatient mental health setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Dedication to ethical and confidential therapeutic practices.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
