The Hilton Garden Inn Corning, managed by Essex Hotel Management, is currently seeking a DRIVEN Restaurant Host/Hostess.

The Restaurant Host/Hostess is responsible for greeting guests, seating them, and ensuring they have a pleasant dining experience. 

Responsibilities:

- Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome

- Escort guests to their tables and present menus

- Answer questions about menu items and make recommendations

- Take and manage reservations

- Monitor dining room for seating availability, service, safety, and cleanliness

- Assist servers with table service as needed

- Handle guest complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner

- Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards guests and team members

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience in a customer service role preferred

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Strong organizational and multitasking skills

- Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays

- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
