ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist in facilitating the preparation and review of annual operating budgets, monthly forecasts, reporting and monthly variance analysis.
  • Conducts periodic budget reviews with programs to identify risks and develop proactive solutions.
  • Performs budgeting and forecasting of expenditures and revenues to ensure sufficient cash flow and reserves.
  • Preparation and posting of journal entries, including reclassification, monthly recurring, and other journal entries.
  • Examines accounting data for accuracy, appropriateness, and documentation.
  • Maintain and expand knowledge of developments in the grant/contract administration and finance areas and ensure that new developments and governmental requirements are incorporated in agency planning and operations.
Qualifications
  • Advanced Excel modeling skills.
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of advanced not-for-profit accounting.
  • Knowledge of the laws, rules, and regulations for not-for-profit financial record keeping and reporting especially regarding grant and other donor requirements.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
$75,000.00-$90,000.00/Annually
Schedule: This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; preferably in business administration, accounting, or related field; and a minimum of five years related work experience.

Training provided within the first year of employment includes: De-escalation & Safety; Public Speaking; Mental Health First Aid; Substance Abuse & Mental Health; Human Trafficking; Trauma Informed Care; and many more.
