Job Title: Engineering Technician
Location: Eatontown, NJ
Salary: $50K - $75K
Requirements: 2 years experience with SMT technology or similar electronics manufacturing role

Additional ways in which a candidate may stand out would be:
- Vocational or technical training in electronics or related field (Preferred)
- Proficient in operating SMT equipment
- Strong ability to read and interpret electronic schematics, assembly drawings, and work instructions
- Operate SMT equipment, including pick-and-place machines and reflow soldering ovens, to accurately place and solder surface mount components on PCBs
- Read and interpret electronic schematics, assembly drawings, and work instructions to ensure proper component placement and soldering
- Conduct inspections and quality checks to verify that SMT assembly meets established standards and specifications
- Troubleshoot and rectify defects in the SMT assembly process, working collaboratively with engineering teams to address issues promptly
- Perform routine maintenance on SMT equipment to ensure optimal functionality and prevent operational issues
- 2 years experience working with Surface Mount Technology or similar electronics manufacturing environment
- Experience with including pick-and-place machines and reflow soldering ovens (Desired)
- Intermediate skills in MS Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Ability to create spreadsheet, organize data, and report to Engineering team
- Vocational or technical training in electronics or a related field (Helpful)
- Prior experience in SMT assembly in a manufacturing environment (Plus)
