Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Clinical Nurse Coordinator Discipline: RN Duration: Ongoing 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Staff Position Summary The Clinical Coordinator is a professional nurse who coordinates the delivery of nursing care for the patients in their individual unit. The coordinator demonstrates competence in the planning of care for the patient. The coordinator provides leadership and organization of the day-to-day operations by working cooperatively with ancillary services and the interdisciplinary team. The coordinator maintains supervisory responsibility, ensures compliance with regulatory agencies and is responsible for consultation with the patients home nursing facility, nursing staff and physicians.
