Forklift Operator | Food Production | 2nd Shift.

Join a food production company specializing in a wide range of nuts! They’re looking to add a Forklift Operator to their 2nd shift.

This is a temporary-to-hire job, and a great opportunity to work with a global leader known for producing high-quality nuts like almonds, pecans, and cashews.

Forklift Operator Job Duties:
• Picks work order demands, stages product for production use & returns unused items back to
inventory.
• Unloads trucks/containers of raw or finished goods items.
• Transfers processed product into finished goods or coolers storage locations.
• Rotates inventory and follows first in-first out or first expired-first out process, depending on job
functions.
• Adheres to all safety and GMP rules, including allergen segregation and organic product
handling. Attends assigned training.
• Responsible for immediately reporting all food safety and quality issues to management.
Schedule: Monday to Friday 3:00pm-11:30pm
• 8-10 hour shift and Saturday as needed

Pay: $17.00 per hour
• $2 shift differential= $19.00/hour

Forklift Operator Requirements:

• Operate stand-up reach, sit-down.
• Preferred but not a requirement electric pallet jack.
• Flexibility and availability as needed.
• Ability to read, write and speak English preferred but not required.
• Basic math skills.
