The company owns a growing global portfolio of Entertainment, Consumer Brands and Media Commerce Services businesses that cross promote and exchange data with each other to optimize the engagement experiences it creates for advertisers and consumers.

We are seeking a Project Manager to support the Product Development team, in Farmington Hills, MI.

The Project Manager is responsible for achieving sales and margin objectives, including developing and executing product assortment, strategy, and vendor relationship management to maximize sales and exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Sourcing vendors and developing private label products
• Monitor and track project progress, proactively identifying and mitigating risks and obstacle
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by regularly reviewing project performance and implementing lessons learned
• Develop a detailed project schedule including kickoff and closeout meetings, project status review meetings, deliverables, and project closeout
• Communicate with upper management of project status, concerns, issues, or needs
• Work with project team to identify possible scope growth & additional sales opportunities
• Analyze industry, competitor, and category comparable(s) and trends to identify new opportunities.
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships and track vendor performance.
• Complete other administrative duties, including composing purchase orders (POs), assisting with item set-up, etc.
• Assisting in the ecommerce strategy and developing product marketplace
• Communicating with overseas vendors and suppliers during off business hours
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• At least 1-3 years of experience successfully managing projects from start to finish, with strong knowledge of project management concepts
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Analytical skills to track productivity metrics and operational activities
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Experience cross-functionally communicating with internal and external partners
• Willingness to travel overseas to visit vendors, suppliers and attend product trade shows
• Knowledge of Chinese or Mandarin language is a plus, but not required
