We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Process Engineer II to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position where you will be responsible for developing, configuring, and optimizing industrial processes from inception through to start-up and certification. You will be in-charge of assessing processes, taking measurements and interpreting data, designing, running, testing, and upgrading systems and processes. If you are a strategic thinker with a knack for problem-solving, this role is for you!
Responsibilities:

• Develop, configure, and optimize industrial processes from inception through to start-up and certification.
• Assess processes, take measurements, and interpret data.
• Design, run, test, and upgrade systems and processes.
• Manage cost and time constraints.
• Perform process simulations and troubleshooting.
• Provide process documentation and operating instructions.
• Perform risk assessments and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Be an integral part of the month-end activity reporting process.
• Perform regular ISO audits and ensure the process meets the required standards.
• Work closely with the automation team to ensure seamless integration of new projects and systems.
• Collaborate with different teams including R&D, operations, and project management to implement new and improved processes.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and practices in the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or relevant field.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in cement, SAP, Process Engineering, automation processes, ISO audits, and month-end activity reporting.
• Proven expertise in process improvement and industrial engineering.
• Strong working knowledge of process engineering software packages.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
• Analytical thinker with strong theoretical and practical problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong team player with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong project management skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and SAP.
• Strong understanding of process simulations and risk assessments.
• A strong commitment to quality, safety, and efficiency.
• A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
