Network Controller/Engineer Overview:
Our client is seeking a eager, motivated, Network Controller/Engineer to join their Telecom Operations Center. In this role, you will support the IP Network & Telecommunications infrastructure nationwide within a 24/7/365 NOC environment! This is a multi-year opportunity to get your foot in the door with one of the largest Fortune 500 Companies!
NOC Engineer Responsibilities Include:
- Monitoring network and telecommunications infrastructure using CA Spectrum and various other tools.
- Provide tier I and/or tier II network support and escalate as needed & assist with managing incidents of all severity
- Take inbound support calls from internal campus and field customers as needed
- Create incidents and tasks via ServiceNow; will also work with problem and change requests
Skills Required
- Must be able to work any assigned shift in a 24/7/365 environment
- 2 years' experience within Network & Telecom Admin/Engineering support
- 2 years' experience within Remedy Incident Management (Remedy ITSM)
- Must have experience supporting Cisco Technology (Cisco CCNA is a plus)
