ASP Web Solutions, LLC is looking for a Environmental Tech to join our team in Fort Worth Texas. This person will support the Hazardous Waste Handling Team at Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base (NAS JRB), Fort Worth, TX.
MUST BE ABLE TO ATTAIN OR HAVE SECRET CLEARANCE
The ideal candidate has Environmental Waste background.
Responsibilities:
Perform and document inspections on a weekly basis for the <90-day Hazardous Waste Storage Facility.

Load and transport containers to on-base permitted storage facility.

Ensure chemical compatibility of the shipment and segregate chemicals by hazard class and load accordingly

Submit and maintain information pertaining to registrations and reports within State of Texas Environmental Electronic Reporting System (STEERS)Training Certs Required:

• Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), also referred to as Hazardous Waste management training;
• Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response Standard, also referred to as HAZWOPER training
• Waste Management Training for Satellite Accumulation Areas (SAA) and Universal Waste Accumulation Areas (UWAA)
• Training certificate for the 8-hour refresher Department of Transportation (DOT) class

Preferred Experience:
Experience working at a Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) <90-day Hazardous Waste Storage Facility, performing regulatory inspections at a Large Quantity Generator (LQG) of hazardous waste site, preparing regulated waste for shipment and disposal at an off-site treatment, storage, and disposal (TSD) facility
Must be able to pass applicable NAVY background investigation.
