Job Duties
Sales
- Greeting customers, responding to questions, improving engagement with merchandise and providing outstanding customer service.
- Collaborates with fellow team members to keep the sales floor area clean and organized at all times
- Provide prompt and accurate checkout while operating a cash register.
- Introducing promotions and sales opportunities to customers.
Donations
- Greets donors promptly and cheerfully to offer assistance.
- Be knowledgeable of acceptable donations, decline donations when appropriate.
- Sort donated goods into specific containers according to sorting procedures
- Meet production goals for grading, sorting, hanging, pricing and tagging donated items in preparation for retail sale.
- Prepare products for shipping in accordance with the standard operating procedure
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED not required, is a plus.
- Retail experience not required, training available.
- Must be able to participate in donation processing
- Able to operate cash register using basic math, reading, and computer skills.
- Willing to learn new processes quickly and possesses strong organizational skills
