The assistant girls soccer position is responsible for working with the head girls soccer coach in running the high school girls soccer program, as well as directing and coaching the junior varsity soccer program. The person is responsible for coaching student athletes in skill development, strategies, and techniques to prepare them for competition. The assistant coach sets daily lesson plans and has clear goals/vision and objectives for student athletes to reach their potential. Teaching and learning is a priority, as we prepare the players for soccer and life skills. The position will require MSHSL certification by taking online modules on a variety of topics including the philosophy of school based sports.
