A financial services firm specialized in commercial real estate capital is looking for an accounting professional! The firm is a part of a large investment advisory organization founded over 15 years ago. The firm manages nearly $10 billion in assets across a variety of investment vehicles including hedge fund, travel funds, insurance/annuity asset management, and real estate lending.

The professional will be a part of the real estate lending business. The professional is responsible for accounting functions and will interact with prime brokers and fund administrators focusing on mortgage loans. You will be a part of a new integration compliance system, working with IR and counsel teams.

Title: Assistant Fund Controller

Location: Greenwich, CT (Remote Friday’s)

Compensation: Commensurate with experience $120k Bonus

Responsibilities:

• Trade entry, settlement, reporting, reconciliation
• Assist with the month-end close process
• Assist with various internal reports including Performance, Valuation, Risk, etc.
• Assist with year-end audit and tax reporting requirements (1099's, K1's) for all funds
• Assist in managing data integrity across systems and reports
• Oversee fee calculations; track fund expenses and employee expenses.
• Assist with regulatory reporting (ADV; Form PF, FATCA)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• Experience with fund accounting, hedge fund, PE, credit products
• Experience with loans, lending
• Preference for CPA/public accounting background
• Working knowledge of mortgage loans is preferred
• Proficiency in Excel
• Bloomberg is preferred
