Redefine Healthcare is looking for a dedicated, full-time Medical Assistant to join our expanding team of healthcare professionals in our Hackensack, NJ location. We are looking for candidates that are motivated, compassionate, and are looking to advance their career in a community that is always growing.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
· Preparation of documentation required for patient appointments.
· Use of EHR (documenting patient history, vitals, test results, exam findings, and plans as instructed by provider).
· Order entry and submission (ePrescribing, labs and imaging studies, interventional procedures, etc.)
· Assist with in-office injections.
· Respond to patient calls and inquiries.
· Respond to pharmacy refill inquiries.
· Any and all other tasks as directed by providers.
Qualifications:
· Certified Medical Assistant with minimum 2 years’ experience; Orthopedic experience a plus.
· Solid working knowledge of EHR systems; Athena knowledge a plus.
· Knowledge of medical terminology; musculoskeletal/neuro/psych a plus.
· Strong written and oral communication skills.
BILINGUAL ENGLISH/SPANISH IS A MUST!
