BOGE Rubber & Plastics, USA LLC is Hiring a Project Engineer Near Hebron, KY

Lead, coordinate, organize and manage projects for engineering activities that ensure product quality and process efficiency to meet customer requirements and company goals.
Essential Duties And ResponisibiltiesIncludes the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Prioritize engineering activities according to customer (internal or external) and company goals.
  • Coordinate and implement engineering changes for customer requests, process improvements and corrective actions.
  • Charters cross-functional team to assume responsibility for each project
  • Lead introduction of new products or modification of products by using APQP and PPAP tools from development through the launch.
  • Facilitates team members to develop project cost and timing charts for key objectives to meet Customers APQP and Launch requirements
  • Use company approved problem solving techniques to find and fix root causes to process issues.
  • Develop time lines for changes and launches.
  • Develop and meet budget requirements.
  • Coordinate all teams activities to the successful completion of work. (This includes, but is not limited to coordination, communication, prioritizing, progress reports, develop and review tasks lists, complete and review monthly report(s), etc.)
  • Develop professional presentations to all internal or external customers and suppliers for purposes of justification of activities and giving updates (progress reports).
  • Give input on manufacturing feasibility, costs and timing to appropriate department(s) (Quotes, ECRs, etc.)
Education And Experience
    • B.S. Degree in Engineering/Business and/or Equivalent 3-5 years experience in position requiring significant interface with engineering, manufacturing or customer base.
    • Leadership skills; capable of handling employee related issues.
    • Proficient computer skills with Microsoft software (including MS Project).
    • Ability to communicate effectively (written and oral) with all organizational levels
    • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
    • Excellent facilitation skills coupled with ability to balance technical solutions against economics and human factors.
    • Capable of making sound decisions in a timely manner.
    • Experience in rubber injection molding and metal bonding.
    • Experience in a highly automated automotive OEM environment.
    • Supervisory experience with 5 or more direct reports.
    • Prior experience in assembly/manufacturing environment, plant layout, cost analysis, budgeting, blueprint reading, SPC, Pneumatics and hydraulics, some PLC.
    • Proficient in AutoCAD

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of management, associates, customers, and public.
Mathematical SkillsAbility to work with basic mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
Trigonometry, statistics and probability. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations and financial information.
Reasoning AbilityAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Must be able to handle multiple assignments effectively.

    • While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand; move around the plant; handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The associate is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel or crouch.
