**Description**

The Stow Company is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Warehouse Supervisor. We are the countrys premier source for custom closets and organizational solutions; designed, custom-cut, and shipped to our clients from our world class manufacturing facility in Holland, MI.

**Purpose of Position**

The purpose of the Warehouse Supervisor position is to:

* Train and develop your direct reports

* Ensure standards are being followed

* Improve the work that is being done

**Essential Functions and Responsibilities:**

* Ensure all team members are trained to perform job tasks safely and correctly

* Enforce a safe work environment in coordination with Stows 5S standards

* Communicate company news and issues to hourly team members

* Motivate team members to meet all process targets and quality expectations

* Enforce disciplinary actions to hold team members accountable to company policy and procedures

* Manage department scheduling and labor efficiency

* Manage department performance reviews and encourage individual growth and development

* Drive efficiency, work standards, processes and procedures

* Coordinate with process engineers to maintain accurate documentation of work standards and training

* Lead daily and long-term continuous improvement initiatives

**Basic Qualifications:**

Education & Experience:

* Bachelors Degree preferred, ideally in Engineering, Logistics, or Business

* 3 years of experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing/warehouse facility

* Previous experience in Lean manufacturing

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

* Demonstrated leadership and team building abilities

* Demonstrated ability to motivate people

* Ability to effectively teach and train others; assess and develop team member skills

* Strong ability to be adaptable and flexible

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to think innovatively

* Proficiency with computer systems; including MS Office Suite, ERP systems, web-based programs, etc.

* Ability to work collaboratively with groups and lead decision-making processes in a team environment

Physical Qualifications:

* Ability to assist with lifting or moving product while working with the teams

* Ability to spend large amounts of time on the plant floor

**Warehouse Supervisor Schedule:**

* 1st Shift: Tuesday - Friday, 6:30am - 5:00pm

The Stow Company may temporarily assign any team member with duties outside of their normal responsibilities. Such assignments may be warranted due to a variety of specific requirements, conditions and/or the capabilities of available personnel. Management will determine the nature and duration of those assignments.
